WORDS OF LIVING WATERS DAILY INSPIRATION
Monday, 18th May,2026.
Theme: Be a Truthful Person
(Acts 19: 1-8,Ps 68, Jn 16:29-33)

One of the fruits of the Holy Spirit is truthfulness. Some of the disciples in Ephesus were very truthful to Paul, about the fact that they have not received the Holy Spirit and don’t even know who he is. Others would have lied to Paul and even claim to be doing great things in the name of the Holy Spirit. But these people didn’t allow lies to rule their lives. Jesus himself said that Satan is the father of all liars.

Beloved, some of us have allowed the spirit of lying to become our master in life. Some Christians can create lies and the whole world will believe them. Such individuals are not possessed by the spirit of God. They are only deceiving themselves. When the Holy Spirit dwells in you, you will always stand by the truth no matter the situation. We can’t be praying for the spirit to use us when our hearts are full of lies. Truthfulness brings integrity to our lives.

Tell yourself that I will not allow lies to rule my life.As a child of God, I must stand by the truth and the truth shall set me free.

May the Holy Spirit burn every spirit of lies in us and make us instruments of God all the time. Amen.

Tuesday,19th May,2026.
Theme: Persevere in Your Faith
(Acts 20: 17-27,Ps 68, Jn 17:1-11)

St. Paul was recounting to the elders of Ephesus the difficulties he had to go through on account of his faith in Jesus Christ. He suffered a lot for his faith. But he never gave up his faith in the face of these challenges. He persevered to the end.

We need the spirit of endurance in our Christian journey. Life in itself is full of challenges, hence challenges are part of life. But as people of faith,we need the strength to withstand them to the end. The spirit of fortitude, which is a gift of the Holy Spirit is necessary for this earthly pilgrimage.

Our master whom we are following went through a lot, but he never gave up. Even when things became difficult, he looked up to God. If Jesus should have given up , I don’t think today you and I would have had the chance to be saved.

Some of us easily give up when we encounter challenges. Some of our brothers and sisters have even stopped going to church because of the behavior or conduct of someone. Please we are serving God and not human beings. But sometimes we behave as if we are serving human beings. The bad conduct of people should not stop you from using your gifts to serve God and man.

Sufferings and temptations will come but God will see us through. Always look up to him in such moments. Your own strength will fail you. I know you are going through a lot in your life, but Jesus says all shall pass one day. It is a matter time,it will be over soon. Trust in the Lord.

May the Holy Spirit give us the strength to always endure in difficult moments. Amen. Have a Blessed Day.

Wednesday, 20th May, 2026.
Theme: Beware of False Prophets
(Acts 20: 28-38,Ps 68, y Jn 17:11-19)

St. Paul warned the elders of Ephesus of the fact of people coming to give wrong teaching. In other words, not all preachers are led by the spirit of God. Some are preaching for their own stomach, but not to win souls for Christ. Because of their own personal interest, they will do everything possible to divide the people of God.

Jesus prayed in today’s gospel for the spirit of unity for his disciples. Therefore anybody who doesn’t promote unity but rather division is not possessed by the Holy Spirit. We have a lot of false teachers these days among us , especially on our airwaves. Establishing a church has become the easiest way of amassing wealth. Hence the many self acclaimed pastors among us today. Some of them are truly called by God. By their fruits we shall know them. We are called to win souls for Christ but not to use the church as a business centre to become rich.

I must admit that some of these pastors are extorting money from the members to become wealthy people. Some members go to the extent of selling all their properties in order to receive help from these preachers. Please we have to be smart these days, if not we would be fooled. Some of us like roaming too much trying everywhere to solve our problems. We even end up worsening our situation, because at the end we don’t find any solution. And because some are not using the spirit of God, the devil ends up adding more burdens to our problems.

We should also know that not everybody who comes to church is there to promote the kingdom of God.Some are actually agents of Satan,who have been sent to destroy the church of God. Some of us also allow ourselves to be used by the devil,which was not the case at the beginning. We need to ask the Lord to deliver us from this bondage. Don’t be an agent of division among the people of God.

May the Holy Spirit help us to discern well and know those who are from God and the vice versa. And may we always promote unity among Christ’s faithful Amen.

WORDS OF LIVING WATERS DAILY INSPIRATION
Thursday, 21st May,2026.
Theme: God will set Confusion in the Camp of your Persecutors
(Acts 22: 30;23:6-11-27,Ps 16, Jn 17:20-26)

The apostle Paul was still persecuted by the Scribes and the Teachers of the Law. But God didn’t abandon him in their hands to be destroyed. Paul capitalized on their differences to set confusion among them. For me this was an act of God to deliver Paul from their evil plans. God promised to stand by him in all circumstances. The apostle also trusted in the protective power of God.

Beloved, this situation experienced by Paul is a living reality. It is not something very far from us or not happening among us. If nobody at all has experienced this, I am a living testimony to this living reality. Yes, God will always set confusion in the camp of those who are fighting for our downfall. They will end up swallowing themselves alive.

God will not abandon you in the hands of your adversaries. People will always plan evil for you, but God will always rescue you from their evil intentions. They will fabricate stories and project negative images about you. Just trust in the powerful hand of God. It doesn’t matter the kind of prison they have kept you, whether spiritual or physical, God will come to your aid. All their efforts will come to nothing. In fact, they will fail. They themselves will come to appreciate the hand of God upon you and give testimony to people about that.

When your persecutors threaten you stand firm and look up to God for your protection and deliverance. Your God will never abandon you in their hands. They may seem to be on the winning side but God will come to your aid at the right moment. Continue to be the conscience to them, especially in this corrupt world of our time. When everybody seems to be enjoying the fruits of corruption.

As I have always said, evil can never triumph over good. It is just a matter of time. What you are going through will come to an end one day. Be patient and wait on the Lord in prayer. I know some of us are having sleepless night and are in pain because of persecutions in our work places, homes, churches, and so forth. Jesus is with you. Tell yourself I am an overcomer and I will never give up, for the Lord is on my side.

May God set confusion in the camp of those always seeking our downfall. Amen. Have a Blessed Day.

Friday, 22nd May, 2026
Theme: The Spirit leads us wherever He wants
(Acts 25: 13- 21,Ps 103, Jn 21:15-19)

The life of a Christian is directed by the Holy Spirit. This was the case for the apostles and the early Christians. The spirit of God used them to perform mighty deeds for his kingdom. St. Paul at a point will even say they were forbidden by the spirit not to go to some places. This happened because they were in touched with the spirit. This is what Jesus was telling Peter today in the gospel. When we are young in the faith we do what we want, but when we mature it is the spirit which rules our lives. We don’t live for ourselves but we live for Christ. Our lives become Christ-centered instead of self-centered.

Peter who denied Jesus was now able to witness to him by sacrificing his life for the faith. The young Peter has now matured into an old Peter. We need to allow the Holy Spirit to mature us into fully grown Christians. There should be a difference in your life as a man or a woman of faith. You shouldn’t be like the old person who was fearful, lazy in prayer and so forth. You must testify that you have been transformed by the Spirit of God. Let the Holy Spirit guide you in your journey as a Christian.

May the spirit of God direct our lives always according to his will. Amen.

WORDS OF LIVING WATERS DAILY INSPIRATION
Saturday, 23rd May, 2026.
Theme: Your situation Shouldn’t affect Your Faith in God
(Acts 28: 16- 20,30-31,Ps 11, Jn 21:20-25)

Even in chains Paul continued to spread the good news of Jesus. Not even imprisonment could stop him from preaching Jesus to the world. That’s what the spirit makes us when we are possessed by him. We never give up in anything we do nor our faith in God. Even in the midst of trials and tribulations, we still stand firm in faith.

Nothing should separate us from the love of God. ( Romans 8:35-38). Some of us have given up our faith in God because of certain challenges in life.

For some of us we have stopped going to church because of certain difficulties that came our way. It is not a sign of maturity in our Christian faith. We need to grow as people of faith. Something little then we are shaking in our faith. Meanwhile we are the very people who counsel people a lot when they are in difficulties. But when the reality now dawns on us then we give excuses for our failure of not enduring.

Our own strength will fail us in such moments, hence let’s always be in touched with the Holy Spirit.

May the spirit of God help us always never to give up our faith no matter the circumstances we find ourselves. Amen. Prepare for your Pentecost.
