Monday,16th March,2026.
Theme: Distance is not a barrier in matters of Faith
(Is 65:17-21, Ps 30, Jn 4:43-54)
Beloved in Christ, for Jesus distance can never be a barrier in the performance of his great deeds. What is important is faith in him. The official came all the way from Capernaum to Galilee, just to see Jesus for the healing of his son, who was seriously ill. He left his son in Capernaum, and am sure he wanted to go along with Jesus from Galilee. But Jesus proved to him that he needed not to be physically present to heal his son. The man also believed in his words of healing from a distance. And truly he experienced a miracle in relation to his son. His son became totally healed by the words of Christ.
Sometimes we belittle the power of Jesus. As if to say that his power is limited in space. It doesn’t matter where you are and the location you want to direct your prayer. Once the prayer is said in faith, definitely the effects would be there. May be you want to pray for someone who is sick but not physically present. It is a matter of praying in faith and the effects would be realized.
Some of us are part of those school of thought who believe in touch. For such people if they are not touched, then they can’t experience any effects of the prayer made. It is time for us to change our perception about this matter of faith. The official didn’t need Jesus to go to his house. Jesus only spoke the word with authority and there was effects.
The Centurion in Luke 7:6-7, also professed the same faith. ” Lord I am not worthy that you should enter under my roof, but only say the word and my servant shall be healed”. Jesus was so marvelled at his faith and truly the servant was healed. He told Jesus that he is a man of authority, and when he gives orders, even though he is not present but his orders are followed.
We are equally people of authority, who don’t need space to operate. Wherever you are just direct your prayer in faith and there would be a power of transformation. You have that power and authority in you. Don’t undermine it at all.
May God help us to mature in our faith to experience his power of transformation in our lives .Amen.

Tuesday, 17th March,2026.
**Theme: *Wait on the Lord*
( Eze 47: 1-9,12, Ps 46, Jn 5:1-16).
The spirit of waiting is the difficulty for most of us Christians. We easily give up when we pray for a long time and it seems that the Lord is not answering our prayers. But we need to learn from the man who was sick for thirty- eight years.
Beloved, am not talking about 1year, 5 years, 10 years or even 20 years. Am talking about thirty-eight good years. I know he had suffered a lot in his life with his condition. He had become a mockery in society. His condition was considered a hopeless one in the eyes men. But he still waited for his moment of deliverance. He never gave up. Some of us out of frustrations we end up going to Shrines, Mallams, fake pastors and others. But they end up only extorting our monies and properties. Some people are even made to sell almost all their properties, in the name of receiving total deliverance from their troubles in life.
Friends in Christ, if you don’t have faith in God, in fact you will equally do the same. Some of the situations in life are sometimes very frustrating to bear with. No wonder some people end up committing suicide. But with God on our side we can survive just like this man. It doesn’t matter how long you have endured these sufferings in life. God is about to step into your situation and change your story. Continue to persevere in the difficult moments in your life.
Tell yourself that I will never give up. I will continue to pray till something happen. Tell someone also today never to give up. No situation is a hopeless one before God. And remember no situation is permanent. It is a matter of time. Keep on trusting the Lord. If your situation is weighing you down then tell yourself, it is well with my soul .
May Jesus come into your situation today and deliver you from all your predicaments.Amen. Have a Blessed month of April.

WORDS OF LIVING WATERS DAILY INSPIRATION
Wednesday, 18th March,2026
Theme: God will Never Forget You
( Is 49: 8-15, Ps 145, Jn 5:17-30).
The Israelites at a time in their exile thought God has forsaken them. But God pointed out to them that even if a woman should forget of her sucking child, he God will never forget them. We should grow with this faith as children of God that, no matter the situation we find ourselves God can and will never forget us. The Israelites also stayed long in their exile and that made them to start to have that feeling.
As I said it doesn’t matter how long we have been in a situation. God is still with you. God never abandons his people who continue to trust him. Mostly, it is we who think and feel that God is not with us anymore. I want you to know that your God is still with you in the situation you find yourself. It is a matter of time, he will save you from that unbearable condition. Your time will come, just have patience and wait on him.
Jesus is with you in the boat of life, don’t be despair. Tell yourself, all shall pass one day.
May Jesus grant us the grace never to feel that God has abandoned us.Amen.

SOLEMNITY OF ST. JOSEPH, SPOUSE OF THE BLESSED VIRGIN MARY
*Theme: God is a covenant keeping God *( 2 Sam 7: 4-5,12-14,16, Ps 89, Rom 4:13,16-18,22,Matt 1:16,18-21,24)
Beloved in Christ, God is faithful to his promises. He never fails in his dealings with us. He promised David that he will establish his kingdom forever. And to accomplish this, he will raise up an offspring from his lineage. This came to be fulfilled in Jesus, the promised Messiah after so many years. Mary and Joseph became the instruments God used in the New Testament to fulfill this promise.
We only need to preservere in prayer and wait on the Lord. It doesn’t matter how long you have been waiting. Your time will surely come. Things can be delayed in your life but not denied. Because your God will make sure that his will come to pass in your life.
Am sure the waiting period of some of us has been long, hence we want to give up. Or people have told us that things can’t turn around for our good. I want to encourage you today that your God is a living God, and is able to make impossibilities possible. Don’t be sad, stop crying and tell yourself it is well. He has done it for others and surely he will do it for you too. Tell yourself am a special being to God, am an apple of the Lord’s eyes.
May God begin to fulfill his promises in your life from today .Amen.

Friday, 20th March, 2026.
*Theme: Be the Conscience of Your Society
( Wis.2: 1, 12-22, Ps 34, Jn 7:1-2,10, 25-30)
As Christians, we are called to live exemplary lives. Our lives must challenge others to aspire for goodness. Our lives must renew the face of the earth. Sometimes people persecute us because our lives are challenging them, but they can’t live it , hence they will paint us black and give us all sorts of names. This was what happened to Jesus as against the Pharisees and the Scribes. But some of them ended up publicly accepting his ways.
If you are a Christian and your life do not challenge the people you live with or encounter, then you are a failure. We should not compromise with the gospel values. Some of us are afraid of how badly we will be treated, hence we follow what the majority are doing. Forgetting that we are called to be different.
The truth is that, most of our persecutors within their hearts know that we are showing them the right path, but because of stubbornness of heart they will not admit it publicly. If everybody is doing the wrong thing, make sure you are the one person who challenges them. The world is at a morally depraved state because we have failed to be the conscience to the people. We want to please people so we are also following the evils of our time.
Remember we are called to be credible witnesses and not counter witnesses. Unfortunately, most of us are living hypocritical lives. What I normally refer to as double standard.
It is my prayer that our lives will compel others to do the right thing in life. Amen.

WORDS OF LIVING WATERS DAILY INSPIRATION
Saturday, 21st March, 2026.
Theme: Vengeance belongs to God
(Jere 11: 18-20, Ps 7, Jn 7:40-53)
In the first reading of today, the prophet Jeremiah was asking for vengeance from the Lord against his enemies. These were people who had planned to eliminate him. In fact, they planned to wiped away his name from the face of the earth. But he trusted God for his deliverance. The fact that God would not allow his adversaries to destroy him. The Jewish leaders also developed the same hatred for Jesus. Meanwhile Jesus had not done anything against these people. Jesus equally trusted his father for his deliverance.
Beloved, people will always rise up against us in this life. But we should not be scared of them because we have God on our side. You have Jesus with you. No matter the evil plans they scheme against us, Jesus would deliver us from all of them. Only trust in the power of deliverance in the name of Jesus. Sometimes we entertain fear too much. As if to say that those people are powerful than our God. Don’t be afraid of anyone, they are powerless before your God.
In Matt 5:44, Jesus encourages us to love our enemies and pray for those who persecute us. Someone will say this is a difficult task to do. Yes, humanly speaking it is very difficult, but not with God. With the grace of God, it is something so simple to do. To pray for people who are always working for your downfall, something you are very much aware. You are to respond to their hatred with love. This makes us true Christians, and create the difference between us and them. It is only through such attitude that our lives can be bibles for people to read in our societies. Vengeance belongs to God, so never try to revenge. Revenge is not a Christian attitude. The more you do good to such people, all their evil plans against you would turn into fire upon them. They will fall into their own traps, because you don’t mean evil for them. But if you try to fight back you will fail as an individual, and they would prevail upon you, whether physically or spiritually.
Beloved, never expect everybody in this life to love or like you, never. Whether you like it or not, people will hate you in this life. Sometimes some of them can hate you for no reason. The point is that it’s normal to have such experience. Some of us don’t understand why people should hate us. But why shouldn’t people hate you? It is not even normal for everybody to like you. It means you are not a human being. Jesus, who is our master had the same experience from the Pharisees and the Scribes. They never saw anything good about whatever he did. But he responded with love. I want you to be psychologically prepared for such behavior from people. People would always hate you and everything about you, this is a reality that you must accept in this life.
May God give us the strength to forgive always and to show love to people who always wish our downfall. Amen.
